My name is Carlos Solinis Camalich, I am a Canarian Landscape and Night Photography photographer, I live between the islands of Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, even living in one of the most beautiful places on the planet, I do not hesitate to travel as often as I can in search of unique places and moments, over the years I have been able to visit incredible places in Spain, Chile, England, Italy, Austria or Iceland.
My interest in photography began when I was little, with those memories of my father with his camera taking family photos of us, when he had a camera in his hand he always tried to look for something different, but it was not until the beginning of 2010 when this hobby began to become authentic passion.
My training has always been self-taught, taking some courses and searching through the networks I have been perfecting my workflow, I have always liked to see a lot of photography that inspires me and I feel authentic passion for the golden hour, living in some islands my photography has focused on the seascape, a place where I not only enjoy photography but also the beauty of the sea and those moments of disconnection that thanks to photography can be immortalized. Also the excellent climate of the Canary Islands allows me to go out all year round to take night photography, although currently I focus more on the times that allow me to capture the galactic center with greater clarity, this is another discipline of photography that I have fallen in love with since With the quality of current cameras and lenses you can capture a world that until now you could not see, being alone with your camera in a totally dark place under deep space has no words.
In recent years, thanks to photography, I have had the pleasure of meeting incredible places and people, people who share a passion, who are now my friends and with whom I travel every year, I have been lucky enough to get more than 150 awards in more than 30 countries, such as the prestigious International Epson Pano Awards, Trierenberg Super Circuit, International Photography Awards, ND Awards, One Eyeland, World Master Photography Awards o Gipuzkoa International Trophy, as well as the distinction granted by the International Federation of Photography as a FIAP Artist and Expert, but what I like most is everything what remains for me to see, enjoy and learn, and as Imogen Cunningham would say, Which one of my photos is my favorite? One that I am going to do tomorrow .....

Mi nombre es Carlos Solinis Camalich, soy fotógrafo canario de Paisaje y Fotografía Nocturna, vivo entre las islas de Fuerteventura y Gran Canaria, incluso viviendo en uno de los lugares más hermosos del planeta, no dudo en viajar tan a menudo como puedo en busca de lugares y momentos únicos, a lo largo de los años he podido visitar lugares increíbles en España, Chile, Inglaterra, Italia, Austria o Islandia.
Mi interés por la fotografía comenzó desde que era pequeño, con esos recuerdos de mi padre con su cámara haciéndonos fotos familiares, cuando tenía una cámara en la mano siempre intentaba buscar algo diferente, pero no fue hasta principios de 2010 cuando esta afición empezó a convertirse en auténtica pasión.
Mi formación siempre ha sido autodidacta, realizando algunos cursos y buscando por las redes he ido perfeccionando mi flujo de trabajo, siempre me ha gustado ver mucha fotografía que me inspire y siento auténtica pasión por la hora dorada, viviendo en unas islas mi fotografía se ha centrado en el paisaje marino, un lugar donde no solo disfruto de la fotografía sino también de la belleza del mar y de esos momentos de desconexión que gracias a la fotografía se pueden inmortalizar. También el excelente clima de Canarias me permite salir todo el año a hacer fotografía nocturna, aunque actualmente me centro más en las épocas que me permiten captar con mayor nitidez el centro galáctico, esta es otra disciplina de la fotografía que me tiene enamorado, con la calidad de las cámaras y lentes actuales puedes capturar un mundo que hasta ahora no podías ver, estar solo con tu cámara en un lugar totalmente oscuro bajo el espacio profundo no tiene palabras.
En los últimos años gracias a la fotografía he tenido el placer de conocer lugares y personas increíbles, gente con la que comparto una pasión, que ahora son mis amigos y con los que viajo todos los años, he tenido la suerte de conseguir más de 150 premios en más de 30 países, como el prestigioso International Epson Pano Awards, Trierenberg Super Circuit, International Photography Awards, ND Awards, One Eyeland,World Master Photography Awards o Trofeo Gipuzkoa International, así como la distinción que otorga la Federación Internacional de Fotografía como Artista y Experto FIAP, pero lo que más me gusta es todo lo que me queda por ver, disfrutar y aprender, y como diría Imogen Cunningham, ¿Cuál de mis fotos es mi fotografía preferida? Una que voy a hacer mañana.....
